Welcome to Haven Adult Day Program, Inc.
At Haven Adult Day Program, Inc., we believe every individual deserves a place where they feel valued, included, encouraged, and supported. Haven was created to provide adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities meaningful opportunities for friendship, personal growth, social connection, and community involvement within a safe and caring environment.
Our goal is to create a welcoming community where individuals can build confidence, develop life skills, participate in engaging activities, and experience the joy of belonging.
Our Story
Haven Adult Day Program, Inc. was founded in 2024 in Troy, North Carolina, with a vision of creating a supportive and enriching space for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Haven was built from a passion for serving individuals with special needs and recognizing the need for meaningful programs that promote inclusion, dignity, independence, and community connection.
With years of experience working in special education and supporting individuals with diverse learning and developmental needs, our founder envisioned a program where adults could continue learning, socializing, exploring their interests, and building relationships beyond the school years.
What began as a dream to create a place of encouragement and opportunity has grown into a mission-centered organization focused on building a caring community for individuals and families throughout Montgomery County and surrounding areas.

Fun Day Was a Blast!
Haven Adult Day Program, Inc. Fun Day on May 16th was a wonderful success! We enjoyed spending time with friends, participating in exciting activities, sharing great food, and creating meaningful connections within our community.
Participants were excited to see one another, socialize, laugh, and engage in the day’s activities. It was heartwarming to watch friendships grow and see everyone enjoying a space that truly felt welcoming and inclusive.
Events like these provide participants with something they can call their own — a place to belong, connect, and look forward to each month.
